Book wormWelcome to Hidden Gems Bookstore

"The Smallest Bookstore still contains More IDEAS OF WORTH than have been presented in the Entire History of Television"  Andrew Ross

Hidden Gems Bookstore:
'Treasures For Your Mind'

We are a gently used bookstore but do carry some new books; as well as locally made greeting cards; postcards; and bookmarks, etc.

Thank you to all the customers who have reviewed our business on 'google my business': wonderful kind words-we appreciate your support, suggestions and business.

Thank you to Erica Lahoda for updating our website--we are in our 9th year of business and thought it time to update the site.  (Erica had been one of the original people to create our website back in 2009.) Let us know what you think of the updated site.

 New Books into the Store:

(We also carry the other 4 Whitewater Cooks series and is one of our biggest sellers.)

T. G Brown's 2nd book in the Josh Ingram series, 'Harvest' is now at the store. Terry is a local author and his thriller fiction has been very well received.

And of course we have 'Everything Shuswap' by Jim Cooperman and 'The Many Faces of Mt. Ida' by the Mt Ida Historical Group as the latest Local History Books.

Look up above the top shelf of the Book Shelves you will see unique books for sale on display.

You can order by calling us and providing a credit card number on all our Local, BC and Other Canadian Authors Books that we highlight on our website. We also sell and mail out books we have in the store, but are not listed.   When you hit the book button tab listed above, you will see further information.
