Roots & Blues Festival  
August 19th-20th and 21st/2011.
The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society is a non-profit charitable organization that presents year-round concerts as well as the Annual Roots and Blues Festival the third weekend every August.
This year one of the highlights will be the performance by Jonny Lang. This festival has become well known around the world and draws huge crowds. If you enjoy great music, wonderful mix of food and drink, 6 stages to take in over the day\'s events, artisans wares, and Children\'s Center then you will need to attend. What can we say-4 mountains; 4 \'Arms\' of the Lake; 4 distinct seasons; and 4 big areas of interest that Salmon Arm is becoming known for (besides all the wonderful recreational things to do):
-Sports-have had wonderful athletes coome out of the area in Basketball; Hockey; Skiing; Swimming; and Golf.
