We do carry the usual categories found in bookstores: Thrillers/Suspense; Murder Mysteries; Romance; Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror; True Crime; Non-Fiction/Biographies and Westerns but also want to highlight some other categories you can find as you browse around...

NEWER RELEASES: there is a book case dedicated to newer release gently used books found near the back of the store and for all the book clubs in town a great way to to find their reading material. As well, you will now find books at ends of bookcases and on the post highlighting favorite authors/good books to read.
CANADIAN CONTENT: non-fiction books on BC and on the rest of Canada.
TRUE ADVENTURE: In the back corner you will see true travel stories about traveling to other countries; climbing; flying up north; sailing; etc. There are a few train, car and motorcycle books on the bottom.
GENERAL FICTION/PRIZE WINNERS: includes Canadian authors as well as Award Winners/Nominations and interesting reads.
BOOKS TO MOVIES/T.V. SHOWS: this bookcase showcases books made into movies and/or t.v. shows, and assists customers to find those authors, whose work they enjoyed on screen/t.v., to find their other books.
HISTORICAL FICTION: with authors such as Jean Auel, Diana Gabaldon, Jack Whyte; Simon Scarrow, Conn Iggulden, Susanna Kearsley, Philippa Gregory, etc. (This section we have enlarged as Historical fiction is very popular--learning about history but in a fun and exciting way.)
SCIENCE/PHILOSOPHY Found around the corner from the Westerns.

CLASSICS: hardcovers found in the Old and Hard to Find; the soft covers are in the next bookcase. Some of the books in Old and Hard to Find are on consignment and can not use the in- store Credit Program.

SPIRITUAL SECTION: Buddha, First Nations, Wayne Dyer; Sylvia Brown, etc can be found in this area in the back corner. We also have Yoga books in this section but they go fast.
SELF HELP/HEALTH: Can be found below the Business/Finance section--from relationships, to death, to health into diet/cookbooks.

COOKBOOKS: Found on the bottom shelf, below gardening at the front of the store- gluten free-to vegetarian/vegan/raw food; to how to preserve food; and more.
ART/CRAFTS BOOKS: Near the front of the store-how to create art; knit; make quilts; wood working projects.

TOP OF SHELVES: There are a variety of books showcased on top of the bookcases: Motorcycles; specialty Fantasy Books; Art Books; BC History, etc.

We bring books in to the store that we feel will be an interest to our customers: from the latest by a popular author; or CLASSIC stories done in beautiful bindings; How to: Make Fairy Gardens/Furniture; Cookbooks; a great selection of Adult Coloring Books; and much, much more.
We also have new books that make great gifts for that baby shower or new baby/grandchild.
And, we support local authors and BC authors with their non-fiction stories, and occasional fiction.; and carry Local History Books.
